Applesauce Cake Roll

***** Applesauce Cake Roll *****

Cake
1 cup sifted flour
½ tea baking powder
½ tea baking soda
¼ tea salt
½ tea cinnamon
¼ tea pumpkin pie spice
3 eggs
¾ cup sugar
½ cup applesauce
Filling
8 ounces of creamed cheese
3 tea evaporated milk
¼ cup sugar
1 tea vanilla

Cake - Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg 5 minutes. Gradually add sugar and beat till thick. Add dry ingredients, fold in applesauce last. Line jelly roll pan with greased and floured wax paper. Pour batter and bake 350 15 - 20 minutes. Then sprinkle paper lined with 10x sugar and roll cake in paper towel. Let cool ½ hour. Make filling.
Filling - Blend well. Unroll the cake roll and remove paper. Spread filling on and roll up again. Refrigerate.
