Apple Strudel

1/4 cup raisins
2 TBSP rum
6 cups apples
1/2 cup almonds
3/4 cup sugar
1 tea cinnamon
1/2 tea cloves
3/4 pound melted butter
1/2 cup find bread crumbs
10x sugar
filo or phyllo pastry dough

Mix raisins with rum. Let stand 2 hours. Mix apples, almonds, sugar, cinnamon, cloves. Add raisins.
On a flat surface, place 6 whole sheets of filo, on on top of hte other, brushing each with melted butter. Sprinkle 1/4 cup bread crumbs over entire surface. Place
1/2 the apple mixture at teh bottom edge of the strip. Fold the bottom edge of the filo over the filling. Fold the left edge of the filo sheet over 2 inches, then brush
the folded edge with butter. Repeat tot he right side. Roll up the pastry, stopping 1/2 way to brush top with butter. Place the roll seam down on a lightly
greased baking sheet. Brush top with butter. Repeat to make another roll.
Bake 375 degree oven 45 minutes. Sprinkle with 10x, cool 1 hour.
