Meat Beef Chicken Pork Seafood Recipes
***** Beef Pie *****
10 oz cooked veggies from garden
(zucchini, corn, string beans,
tomatoes, etc. OR bag frozen mixed
veggies) - 2 ½ cups
½ cup chopped onions
3 TBSP butter
3 TBSP flour
1 ¾ cup beef broth
salt & pepper to taste
2 cups cooked beef, shredded
2 TBSP marsala cooking wine
Sauté veggies & onion in butter about 3 minutes. Gradually stir in flour, and cook for one minute. Add beef broth and spices, and cook till thick. Add sherry, and beef. Put in double crust. Mix one egg yolk and 1 tea water together, and brush over top crust.
Bake 425 20 minutes. Cool 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
